Mickey has been the GM for 20+ years, and in that time we have had two seasons of fewer than 7 wins. One after Hurricane Katrina, and one after Hurricane Dennis Allen. If we lose next week it will be 3..

I made the same point earlier this year and was told by someone -- rhymes with ShmigerShmaurus -- that this year would "definitely be another year of less than 7 wins".. and yet here we are, one game away from 7.

A lot has gone well so far. Even with that, we are a couple of good offseasons away from really fielding a team that could compete at the top of the conference.

But, getting off the Carr contract (albeit a fortunate event more than a planned one) and drafting a guy that clearly could be a franchise QB in the 2nd round are both HUGE accomplishments.
