Cost us game as much as anything else. 1st Q matters.
Dude has been good but has come up with some very untimely misses this year. We need clutch kickers.

A 1st Qt miss is not a "Clutch" kick.

Ramos connected on 83% of his Kicks this season.

Another thread of yall looking for something to b*tch about.

I don’t care for him much, but he’s won more games than he’s lost here.

He’s been an overall consistent kicker. A very good NCAA kicker which is a lot to be proud of. Owns LSU all time kicks record. I think his days kicking are done though. The NFL is a different animal. The leg strength on NFL kickers are crazy.

Not scoring 7 cost LSU the game more than a missed FG.

Call it what it is he an average leg kicker who misses at times that kill momentum. The FGs, KO, Punting pretty much all Specials Teams have sucked since BK took over.
Glad Kiffin hired a dedicated coach to run STs.

^This!!! BK let go of an excellent ST coach his first season that cost us big time against FSU and many other games!!! Very foolish and costly decision!!!

The game was lost in the last few minutes of the second quarter.

So if you miss the non-clutch kicks that somehow makes you not as shitty? GMFB

LSU's O-line collapsing on a 3rd-and-3 creating a 4th-and-4 was worse than DR missing the kick.

I blame the fricked up ineligible receiver call more than Ramos as far as game killers go

Ramos had a great year statistically.

Tied for 4th in FG made at 24. Tied Tops in SEC
Tied for 5th in FG attempts. Tops in SEC

Converted 86% of those kicks. Missed 4 all year. 5th in SEC (2 kickers were 24/27 versus Ramos at 24/28) The other two had less than 16 att.

His biggest weakness is his range. Over 45 he is not a safe bet.

I have been curious how Burrell would do because he has a cannon but Gaston on here said accuracy was his problem.

I mean, it would have helped, but we were up 14-0 and blew it. It wasn't a clutch moment when he missed. But when you have a team like ours, every point counts.

It sounds like you need a perfect kicker.

This is brilliance!
How many kickers have lost more games than won?

btw, every kick counts. 3 points in the first Q = the same as 3 points at any other point of the game.

Ramos has statistically been a good kicker but I do feel like when the pressure is on, im not confident when hes up there. Could just be my fandom though.
