Are we thinking the reason for the transferring of the OL is more so lane giving them the ultimatum or them thinking they won’t be successful in Lanes system?

They all are bad. Lane does not want them.

You would have to be able to put out some good film to "maximize" their NIL. But Benny's is opening in Baker and Zachary soon.

New staff offered different amounts for next year than previous staff. They are looking for more. They may decide to come back and take the offer, but they risk the offer not still being there. Some of these guys are now worth less than they were out of high school. They need to come to terms with that.

That would be very astute of LK. My hope is that each and every one of them get a lot of $ in the portal from SEC teams on LSU's schedule.
That is the perfect scenario.

They have done NOTHING to warrant more money. NOTHING!

I think that’s accurate

When you consider the amount necessary to develop those you’re paying to sign out of high school, defense is going to be getting more.

Probably 9 to 6

Now go out and find what you will afford that has experience and not much history of injury

And with what they have put on film, the schools that will be interested do not have the funds for non-skill positions. Nobody at that level is paying for “potential”

This is minor league football. And at LSU’s level, it is expansion NFL

Look, it’s pretty simple. The expectations are changing. There are some players that have been OK with the previous expectations. So those players will either leave or buy into the new expectations. Whatever happens, change in that area of the team is essential.

We probably set a record in TFLs allowed this year.

out of all the OL that entered the transfer portal, the highest PFF grade out of all of them is a 58.6 on a 0-100 scale. Grades above 70 are considered good. I am not worried about them leaving.

LSU also was ranked 120th in rushing offense this year.
