He had ONE bad game ONE. He was dynamic and elite for us all year and now he is trash because he struggled once vs what is prob an NFL TE as a true freshmen ? Cmon now some of the negativity on this board is simply exhausting

It happens in all sports. He will bounce back. He will improve. Sky’s the limit with him I feel.

I really don’t understand why Chicken didn’t fire up the Score Board last night. It allows him to flush a lot of the In-game and immediate postgame foolishness.

Exactly. I don’t recall the fan base turning on DJ Pickett.

Dude was a stud all year and last night was no different

Who turned on Pickett?!?!

I really don't care if he gave up 250 yards last night all by himself. It was a meaningless game and I'm glad no one returning got hurt.

Who is turning on him? Can't be that may. Not sure we need to bring attention to them though.

The fanbase hasn’t done shite.
Most people had the game on and had very little emotion about last nights game.

A hand full or people on TD said mean things about him and that’s not equivalent.

Also people are too sensitive. I said that DJ is not quite ready to take over as CB1 and some dude went nuclear. Called me names and cursed me out. Chill out, I didnt say he has a bum. He just isnt ready for that role yet.

I hope nobody "turned on him", because he played and tried to the end. That was a tough game for anyone to play in. He played all year with a strong bunch of players, then found himself on islands all game. Dude is a baller.

There were quite a few in the game thread, though it was a lot of the usual loud retards. Also talking about how overrated Baker is.

A 5 star freshmen all American who was shutdown for us all year is ready to be a cb1 in year 2 after another offseason. One supbar performance in a meaningless bowl game doesn’t discredit a full seasons body of work

I remember an excellent LSU freshman CB in 2019 who got roasted ONE GAME in Tuscaloosa by future Heisman winner Devonta Smith. Gave up two long bombs for TDs. That CB went on to be a significant factor in Tigers winning the natty and now might be the best CB in the NFL.
DJ Pickett is going to be just fine.

Bro listen to how these people are about Frank Wilson. Has done absolutely nothing wrong but step up as interim when a coach got fired and got another opportunity when LSU didn't want him.

Look at how they act vs Caden Durham.

Look at how they act towards any of the players and coaches at the drop of a hat. This fake arse loyalty they claim to have, it's fairweather as frick.

I know fan is short for fanatic, but LSU fans are a special kind of retarded. At least the ones online are.

Thank you for your services all coaches and players who are departing this year. Thank you to the ones who are returning.

He had a great year as a freshman. Every freshman has a bonehead game. Fans need to shut up.
