Thinking about getting rid of my bow. Package deal, everything goes, case and all. What does the OB think its worth?

Mathews Traverse. 70/28

Go check out archery talk classifieds and see what they are going for.
Bows depreciate hard but it’s worth whatever you can get someone to pay you. I’m guessing 700$ but I could be off a couple hundred either way.

No way on the $700.

I would say $400-500 max. The case is worth nothing, rest and sight is maybe worth $50 total. The traverse wasn’t even the flagship bow at the time.

Yeah but that might be a Scott release at 200$ and the arrows look like they have luminock so another 100$ lol
I hate it when buddies text me wanting to know if I know anyone looking for a bow and how much to seek it for, they are always disappointed. A 5yr old bow is 50-75% of the new price but a 25yr old gun is worth the exact same as it was new or maybe 20% more than new depending on model.

A one year old rigged out bow with arrows and a case is worth about 75% of what the bare bow cost new. 2 years or more and its probably 50% the cost of what the bare bow cost. You can ask for more, but that's what people are going to offer.

So you are saying I can't get anything for my 09 bowtech allegiance?

I have always thought about upgrading, but I shoot this thing so good, and I see prices of new shite and I back out.....I'd love to find a bare 2-4 year old bow for a couple hundred bucks. But dones mean id shoot it as well.

Most likely no one would buy it. Used bows values drop off crazy. Flagship bows from 2020 has little value.

Bows are like golf clubs, the manufactures have to change something every year to make yours obsolete.

You might could get $400-$500 but right now is the worst time to try to get rid of it.

This past spring I sold my decked out 2014 Mathews ChillR with case and all accessories for $600 on FB marketplace. Think everything was about $1400 when I bought it all new.
