Watch out. He will be unguardable.

He’s easily my favorite player on the pels to watch. He’s like the anti Ingram.

I love how everything he does is with a purpose and not just pounding the ball.

My favorite players have always been passers and he’s just a joy to watch.

He was pissed in the Rockets game when Borrego called a timeout during a possession where he had gotten isolated one on one with Sengun. It was hilarious. DQ was ready to go to work on Sengun.

One of the most skilled bigs and just players in general that I’ve ever seen

Can literally do it all. He will end up being the best player from this class

Absolutely. And that skillset can make this team really dangerous and interesting. We could have a point C in Queen, a point forward in Zion and 2 point guards in Fears and Murray. With 2 great shooters in Trey and Poole and one of the best defenders in the league in Herb Jones. There is just so much that this team can do that would make it impossible to game plan for defensively.

Was this intended at me or as a general sentiment? Because I never said that.

I think so too, his midrange shot looks really good. I think him working on his three and getting some physical training in this offseason and he’s going to be harder to deal with.

If Queen gets a little more knee bend he will start hitting threes. His shots are on line/ have decent arc but they are just coming up a little short. Queen will be burying them by March. He is a fast learner.

Basically

Queen being good just means its impact won't be historically bad.

It will always be a boneheaded trade b/c of the unnecessary risk involved with it and unprecedented value given up for it, regardless of who we drafted or what that drafted player turns into.

And I still like Queen just like i did the night we drafted him. I wanted to draft him the moment I saw him hit the game winner in the tournament. For a big dude to move the way he did to get that shot off, and being a freshman that wanted that moment, that’s the kind of guys I want to draft.

I think that’s fair, but never how people will view it if it’s turns out to be equal/better value. Assets in sports is a currency, and if you overpay at the time, it still makes it bad value. You don’t care if you buy a house 30% over asking if it’s worth 100% more than you paid for it in 2 years, but it’s still bad value if you could’ve gotten it for market price.

Fears/ Harper/ VJ are close to each other but a step below the other 3.

This is what I'd have as a current redraft. Its crazy that 12/13 top picks are the same. Only real change is Queen way up and Maluach way down. Feel like there is usually a few more risers/ fallers in the lottery but this was a pretty accurate draft from the top.

Cooper Flagg
Kon Knueppel
Derik Queen

Dylan Harper
VJ Edgecomb
Jeremiah Fears

Ace Bailey
Tre Johnson***
Egor Demin
Cedric Coward
Collin Murray- Boyles
Noa Essuenge***

DeAndre Jordan's tutelage is low key the best thing about this season.
