Long weekend on 30a coming up. I'm a big fan of Shunk Gulley and Red Bar. Thinking of Georges' (how long are waits these days?) and maybe Surfing Deer or Seagrove market.

Thoughts? Something else I should be trying? Thanks yall, enjoy your Christmas and family time.

FYI I'm cool with nice stuff and also total dives. Just trying to find new stuff. Also off-30a is fine if its relatively nearby.

For higher end, Citizen at Alys Beach. That new Japanese place at Alys is pretty good too.

Seagrove Market is a great place for a burger or shrimp poboy, but it’s just a small casual spot…nothing like the other places you mentioned.

Grayton Seafood is underrated IMO. By underrated I mean it rarely gets mentioned when talking about restaurants on 30a.

Cafe Thirty - A is my favorite.

Louis Louis is owned by the Red Bar people and is on 98 just off 30A.

OP- I like the places you listed. I also like Gallions. You might give it a try.

Borago is a favorite. We go pretty much every time we're there. Terrific Italian, but they make a good steak too.

We've been happy with The Bay. They've got great goat cheese ravioli, but they run out so go earlier if you want to try them.

Surfing Deer is an easy pick, but it sounds like you've been there. Cafe 30A has been hit or miss with us. Fish Out of Water is a surprisingly decent meal for a reasonable price. We'll also go to the Wine Bar for lunch often. La Crema Tapas & Chocolate can be a good experience. The ladies like the chocolate fondue, but they have some decent tapas.

We did George’s and Restaurant Paradis last month, both were solid. Cafe 30A is always a favorite.

Love OFFH this time of year. The staff is also pretty good at accomodating requests to subsittue different fish on the menu.

Gallions is very good, happy it seems to be sticking around, good drinks there too. La Crema is also very good, but can not seem to get in there the last few times I have been to Rosemary, go there early if you are trying to go

Cafe Thirty-A is good.

Last time I went to Georges the line wasn't too bad, but it was a weekday.

Tory Mcphail is the chef there, or at least he was at one point.

This one has never disappointed. I've been 4-5 times. It's one of those places where I try something new every time and am never disappointed.
