Neither?

I'm just not surprised. I've always thought Payton was a spectacular coach. We were always going to be in a pretty big rebuild after Brees retired. I think going with Allen was a disaster of a plan, but a few painful years were in order.

Once Payton got a QB and had room to build his team, I knew he would be back to winning football games.

So good for him? But I don't really care about it.

Slightly indifferent but i do NOT wish success for Payton. End of story. I'd be rooting for anyone against the broncos.

Indifferent

Edited to add, I live in Chiefs country but my boss is a big Denver fan, so its fun to listen to him give it back to all the Chiefs fans. That’s the only reason I care.

Would I root for the Broncos to win Super Bowl? No. ( unless playing against Falcons, Buccaneers, or Cowgirls)

If Broncos win Superbowl ?

Meh !!!

Just irritated at whoever helped him leave the Saints, wife , Mickey, etc.

Happy, I have nothing against the broncos and Payton gave us the best stretch in Saints history. I hope he does well and he is happy there. But if they ever play the saints F-him F-them and F-their couch. Other than that good for him.

I became a Broncos fan when Coach SP left New Orleans.
Who else would want to stick around with this dumpster fire.

Hope he wins another one with this organization and cements himself has a HOF coach.

If Saints played the broncos in the Superbowl, I would root for SP.

I'm not happy. Definitely not mad either. I hope SP loses every game he coaches for the rest of his life. Screw him for bailing on the Saints. And don't give me some bs excuse about the GM/Owner screwing up the Saints as an excuse. SP was as big a part of that as anyone else. And he quit and left us in a mess instead of trying to help fix it.

Annoyed that he couldn’t give Brees a few years with a defense like he has in Denver.
Otherwise, I never think about him until I see a post on here discussing him

Mickey and Benson are and have always the Saints' biggest problems.

frick Sean Payton - Yes, he's a great coach. Like, top 3 coach in his era, but...

His massive ego put the Saints on the shite list with the league for years. We were continually targeted and overly punished because of his behaviors and his mouth. And...

Once he decided he was out when Brees retired he refused to do anything to build for the future (Loomis was complicit) and tried to go all in year after year and then bailed on us when the check came due to go to a team with more political and monetary power.

So, frick him and I hope he loses in the playoffs in agonizing fashion and never sniffs a Super Bowl.
