He's an orthodox Jew. It would be very odd if he wasn't Israel first. It's to be expected of him.
Just like how some staunch Christians are Israel first.

I’m not doubting he loves Israel.
But there are people out there that actually hate this country and what it stands for. That’s not Ben.

Completely wrong.
Orthodox Jews around the world cannot stand the Netanyahu govt and IDF war machine, and that includes half of the citizens who are in actual Israel.
My neighbor is Jewish and cannot stand Netenyahu and his carpet bombing of women and children and elderly.
