Players transferring out. Position coaches leaving. Etc. Etc.

In the past, things like this would make me worry.

But knowing Lane has a clear vision and plan on who he wants and who he'll get, whether coaches or players, there's nothing to worry about.

Maybe I'm putting too much faith in him but I feel like he's on top of everything and none of these moves are curveballs to him.

Relax. He knows how to set us up to be at the top of the food chain again.

Enjoy the ride.

Why?

Playres tranferring out.

Happens every year to every team. Plus, no one has actually transferred. In fact, no one has actually put their name in the portal. These are just announcements that they are "testing free agency"

Position coaches leaving.

This happens when there is a HC change...any HC change. It would be silly to think LSU would fire a HC because of subpar performance, then expect the new HC to retain all position coaches on the staff what performed so poorly the HC was fired.

When you make a leadership change at the top you give the new leader leeway to implement change. Otherwise, if you wanted to maintain the status quo...then just maintain the status quo

This happens every time any school has a coaching change. People who are surprised or worried about any of this are either completely irrational or just plain dumb.

I agree that at this point in time there’s no reason for anyone to be freaking out. However it’s ok for people to point out possible concerns and question marks going forward.

Lane knows what he is doing offensively for sure. The only loss right now that hurts is Curne. He is going to be a very successful and dominant guard for someone. Now, that doesn't mean that Lane won't find someone to fill that role in the portal. But I agree he has earned the right based on his history of fielding good offensive teams.

Another back seat coach. Have you had nothing worse than top 5 rushing attacks behind offensive lines full of 3 stars? Let him do his job.

Do you think I'm preventing him from doing his job? Lol

Its like riding a roller coaster...there's some scary parts but you know if the end you're going to end up in a good place.

More people are starting stupid threads saying relax than actual people freaking out.

Who’s not relaxed ? Are you trying to send your message to 3 different posters? The majority of us are VERY relaxed . I’m thrilled that Frank is no longer RB coach, and Brad Davis , Sloan, Hankton are all being replaced with upgrade coaches

Agreed and he was really the best available.
Give him time to assemble a roster. He knows how to deal with the current pay for play environment.

Some of you people are almost sycophantic when it comes to Lane Kiffin. Jeezus it’s kind of cultish at this point.

We currently stand at 73 scholarship players. We can have 105 instead of the 85 we had last year. That means up to 32 new players, more after any additional players announce for NFL or the portal. Lane and Billy Glascock are working on the roster as we speak.

Folks are really going to lose control, because let’s be honest, Curne will not be the best guy we lose this cycle. The way I see it, it’s necessary. Lane has to get his players in, and sadly, we’ll lose some guys due to the coaching change. I will trust Lane Kiffin to know what needs to be done in order to score points.
