Do they Pick in the 12-15 range per
First Round ????
Only teams remaining to play…are worst teams in NFL (trash).

Probably 10, I was looking at that last weekend and I think it's 10.

Saints fans will realize the impact when Draft Day rolls around……and each round that passes.

As long as Shough keeps playing well I don’t care if we are picking 9th or 12th or 17th. Take the BPA hopefully at DL, OL, WR or CB.

Historically over the part 5 season the average draft position for a team with a 7-10 record would be in the range of 13-18.

You know why you want a top 5 pick? Because you need a fricking QB. If we have a QB, there will be a stud at 10-15.

There are 17 teams with 7 or fewer wins (Saints will be 7-10 if they win out). Based on SOS, it does not appear the Saints can catch Carolina or TB even if either lose out. SO now you are looking at 15th at the highest.
If Dal (LAC, @Wash, @NYG) or Balt (NE, @GB, @Pitt) win 1 more game, that drops the peak to 13th.
Next tier would be Minn, KC & Miami. With SOS, you need Minn (@NYG, Det, GB) & KC (@Tenn, Den, @LV) to win 1 more game, and Miami (Cincy, TB, @NE) to win 2 more.
Atl being the only 5 win team needs to go 2-1; @Az, LAR, NOLA
Don't expect Wash (Phil, Dal, @Phil) or Cincy (@Mia, Az, Clev) to win out
My best guess is they will be drafting somewhere in the 9-11 spot if they win out

Saints went 7-9 for years straight with Drew Brees, then had that nuclear draft I. 2017. If you have your QB tanking isn’t beneficial

I agree with this. Look at how many top draft picks the Jets, Browns, Raiders had and never amounted to anything. The teams that tank for draft picks, are the same teams tanking year in and year out. Scout well, build an environment of consistency, put the right coaches in the right positions and you will have success. Oh yeah, know the shelf life of an NFL player, stopped signing old dudes to long contracts that will handicap the cap

We already see the impact both in who will be available in the draft and the impact of winning games on the team, the staff and on fans that know professional football. The other fans are Eoryes sitting in a puddle in the rain.

Its a little difficult to know that without knowing how every other team finishes too.

As long as we do not make a ridiculous trade up, then we will be fine drafting between 10-15. Let the draft come to you.

Best case scenario would be to destroy the Titans/ Jets and lose to ATL. That was give us the #9 pick. 6-11 with a few winnable games is a very successful season considering projections.
Lose 1 game = guaranteed top 10.
Win 3 games = guaranteed #10-15.
Wonder would it would cost to get that ATL 1st from the Rams. Ending up with (2) of Downs + WR/ OT/ DL would be nice top 15...

To be honest, I think winning out helps more than draft position because winning momentum trumps Loomis absolutely fricking up our picks.

That is the best case scenario. But the most important thing about that is it gives us the fourth place schedule, which means next year playing the Raiders instead of the Chiefs, the Cardinals instead of the Rams or 49’ers and the Giants instead of the Commanders.
