News Article

Star Trek was my first Sci-Fi love but as a early teen in the late 70's this was my number one show. It was fun to watch and it had a bevy of babes on each episode that was easy on the eyes. I had my first major crush on Erin Gray.

When I was a kid I thought Erin Gray was the most beautiful woman in the history of the world.

This is Janet Gerard, Gil’s wife. Just to clarify - I was by his side when my husband passed away this morning in hospice care. Below is the message he left:

If you are reading this, then Janet has posted it as I asked her to
My life has been an amazing journey. The opportunities I’ve had, the people I’ve met and the love I have given and received have made my 82 years on the planet deeply satisfying.

My journey has taken me from Arkansas to New York to Los Angeles, and finally, to my home in North Georgia with my amazing wife, Janet, of 18 years. It’s been a great ride, but inevitably one that comes to a close as mine has.

Don’t waste your time on anything that doesn’t thrill you or bring you love. See you out somewhere in the cosmos.

RIP.

I used to watch Buck Rogers regularly as a kid. Hawk was my favorite, and of course, Erin Gray.

Yes.

If it was Erin, I don't think I would have stopped masturbating long enough to get an education.

My favorite scenes were when they would dance. Hilarious.

Gerard was married four times:
Bobi Leonard(June 30, 1987 - 1989) (divorced)
Connie Sellecca(October 28, 1979 - June 28, 1987) (divorced, 1 child)
Constance Elizabeth Gerkin(April 11, 1970 - 1977) (divorced)
Connie Jean McVay(May 14, 1967 - April 16, 1968) (divorced)

Seemed to have a thing for women named Connie.

Me too. She and my mom could've passed for twins. As a kid it was especially uncanny.
