If you're regular OT baller- Toyo and Nitto are still the big dogs.

I'm OT poor- I run Kenda Klevers- I'm about 40k into this set and they are great. Probably my second favorite tires I've ever ran. I loved the Michelin At2 275-65-r20 on my suburban years ago.

I put some Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my son’s truck a few months ago. So far they are wearing well and are quiet.

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac on my TrailBoss. OEM, only 12k miles, seems like an ok tire…

Nitto ridge graps. Getting 60k+ out of them. Buy from a local tire shop and ask them if they have a cash price!

I'm in the market as well.

My truck currently has 315/60r20s which is very close to 35/12.5 20. Truck came with toyo open country M/T and want to go to an AT.

Looking at Toyo and nitto.

Toyo RT Trail have been really good. Pretty agressive for an AT but very quiet.

I put some Toyo Open Country AT3 load range C on a Jeep Unlimited and they are the nicest riding all terrain tires Ive had. I think the load range options are important. Not all brands have the ideal load range for your vehicle. People put higher-ply load range E tires on Jeeps, for example, because they like the tread or styling of a certain tire and it rides like shite. Like tying bricks to the wheels.

What vehicle are you putting tires on?

Falken Rubitreks. They were about $180/EA at Sam's. 50k miles on them and they still have a lot of tread left.

People also run way too much air in their tires. I have E rated tires on my wrangler because they’re cheap, but going from 35 psi to 27 psi made a huge difference in ride. I bought load range C Toyos for my half ton but didn’t notice much change in ride, just better gas mileage.

To answer the OP, I intend to get Toyo R/T trails when it’s time. I had AT3s on my last truck and they’re fantastic but I wanted something slightly more aggressive. I also like the R/T pro but have a feeling when it comes to pricing it’s not going to be worth it for me.

Goodyear duratracs were nice at first but they got annoyingly loud.

Was running sumitomo encounter AT's on the Ram 2500 when we sold it and they were great, excellent traction and a quiet ride. After the 4runner blew out a Falken wildpeak (subsidiary of sumitomo) I put the same Encounter 10 ply's on it. No complaints.

KO2s on my truck and son had Nitto Ridge Grapplers on his.

I have 55k+ miles on mine and they will be good for another 15-20k miles it seems.
Son has probably 40k miles or more on his and plenty of tread left.

When time to replace, not sure I will replace with the KO3 or some Nittos.
