There are issues that must be absolute about serving as the Commander-in-Chief. One is that it is NOT about you - it is about servitude, honor, and discipline, even to those who disagree with you.

We ask soldiers (and he is the top ranking one) to serve the American people and defend, with discipline, our people, again, regardless of belief. We have had these discussions recently as well.

I’m a conservative and love the policies Trump has brought but this pettiness and selfishness has to stop. You may agree with his statement, you may even shout it from the rooftops, just like far-left idiots did about Kirk. But you and they are not the President - who serves everyone.

This is absolutely beneath the office of the President.

Civility no longer exists in Clown World.

It’s sad to watch this train wreck.

Today is going to be a big day of Republican congressmen pretending they haven’t seen the President’s posts.

Shut the frack up. I’m NOT on your side. I’m making a point about the office. You are a message board douchebag.

Much about him is indeed beneath the office of the president. However, he is getting the job done in a way our country really needs at the moment. At the end of the day, he's a strong leader who is doing a great job managing our country, regardless of his weaknesses.

I don’t like his tweet but don’t get it twisted - every single person that voted democrat in the last election wants you dead - and would do themselves if they could get away with it. They want to murder every single gop voter. And that’s not hyperbole.

You're about to get hammered with whataboutisms . Because if the democrats do ____, then it's ok to abandon principles and follow them down that road. Being an adult is a fleeting quality in this day and age.

You can knock someone for something stupid they do, and still support them despite what the political gangs on both sides of the aisle will acknowledge.

It's like if any give exists for any issue or event no matter the importance or lack thereof, the rest of the platform is invalidated. That's just not real life, that's like the psychology of a child.

I agree. I’m in agreement with him on policy - I’ll take him doing what he needs to do with grace though.

The last one was an autopen on auto drive who pardoned his crack head son. Spare the dramatics here as if this is something new or outrageous.

I agree with you, except for this. POTUS isn't a soldier. In this country, we have civilian oversight of the military, and for good reasons. Not just POTUS, but SECDEF also.

But the principle behind your post is correct.

I am more concerned about the rate of illegal deportation, we need to amp up those rookie numbers.

I am more concerned about the epidemic of trans violence.

I am no longer interested in pearl clutching. Done with that.

You sound soft. The reality is the world has changed and unfortunately it is a runaway train not capable of stopping. The weaker ones who concern themselves with the facade of civility and "taking the high road" will be the first to go.

The other side hates you. They'd have you and everyone you love holocausted if they could.

I guess I tend to agree with you. But we all have to open our eyes to the world we are dealing with. All the historical American norms and standards have been broken. And it wasn't Trump who broke them. We are dealing with deranged, evil people hell bent on the destruction of our country.

I wouldn't have responded as Trump did. He shouldn't have responded at all. But it has to be remembered what these people have tried to do to Trump. Not the least of which involve trying to have him murdered. It's a new world now. Better buckle up.

Go look up some of the things Rob Reiner said in the past about Republicans. I have no issue with what Trump said. He wasn't wrong. Reiner did have major TDS.
