What are some top tier winter vacations in the US?

It’s that time of the year where your friends and family share where they are going. I am going to Dallas for Xmas but others have a lot more exotic plans.
IMO tiers are:
Top tier: Hawaii
Mid tier: Florida
Bottom tier: Dallas, some ski resort to pretend you’re rich but just be cold.

I passed through SLC & Park City last week. You baws got no snow. My buddies in SLC are all bitchin cause they haven't hit the slopes yet.
