Dallas just ran the same fake for a 1st down against Minnesota and it brought back those Les Miles memories!

Les's trick plays are a playbook to themselves.

Peak Mad Hatter was a fun time. It's a shame Les became so bland and predictable later on. That FL game where he kept running Hester on 4th and short might be my favorite game ever. I think I'm about to watch it on YT.

ETA: I had forgotten what a thing of beauty it was when Perrilloux ran the old-school option. Everyone seems to have forgotten that you can pitch well past the LOS.

It’s crazy how LSU fans don’t remember Auburn doing the exact fake FG in Tiger Stadium in 1999.

Colt's was better. Then seeing the look on Spurrier's face after was an all time LSU Football moment.

Was Matt Flynn always the PK holder that season, or was it just for that play? Seems weird that our starting QB was holding for kicks.

I thought I remembered the ball hitting the ground first and bounced up into Colts hands perfectly.

Yes, he held on most FGs and XP from 2005-2007. He also ran fakes in the 05 Peach Bowl vs Miami and 07 Florida game.

We ran the same fake in 2010 @ Florida with Josh Jasper and Derek Helton and Jasper caught the ball on a bounce, is that what you’re thinking of?

That Auburn one sucked compared to the South Carolina flip. That one was a thing of beauty while the Auburn one was more of a side shoulder flip

Miles’ first game, first set of downs as the LSU coach, he gave the punter the option to run a fake punt on 4th and 9 from inside the 15. Punter passed for the first down, then LSU punted again shortly after. Miles’ team had an edge even though the offense was boring at times.

Its a shame that creativity wasn't involved in the offensive play calls.

2003- 2013, even with the off years of 08 and 09, were great times for LSU football.

Every coach we have had has gone nuts and cashed it in over chasing p***y.

This team we have cut the middle part out and went straight for the coach who is known for chasing pussy. Let’s see how that one pans out
