I always find the life of Coach O to be pretty interesting.

I read this board quite a bit, and I always find the life of Coach O to be pretty interesting.
If any of you have stories you’d like to share, I’d be happy to hear them.
Some stories that peaked my interest…
How did he go about getting the job? I’ve heard it mentioned he stirred stuff up? What exactly did he do?
I’ve heard his special assistant mentioned as his errand boy. What did he do?
Any other outlandish stories would be appreciated

When he was an assistant coach at Miami, he was in B.R. on a recruiting trip. He ended up getting in a fight ,and arrested, in the old Keg bar.

Well, I’m simply interested in the urban legend kinda stuff. The Miami post was perfect. I had no clue about that story, and that is incredible. I mean, if we think about it, his life is better than any fiction story. Looking forward to reading more

Coach O played at Northwestern State in Louisiana. UL Monroe is in a different division now but they used to be big rivals. One year when O was coaching at Miami they played their rivalry game on Miami's off week and O went. My buddy, a ULM alum, was in line at the concession stand wearing a ULM shirt and O wanted to fight him.
