Graphics look great but that was just a cinematic that I'll bet anything isn't in the game.
Oh did anyone else wonder why they landed so damn far away from the ship? lol.
I'm way more interested in Divinity at this point. In 3 years when we see the first game footage and a release date of 2032 I might get a little more interested. But we've already had one cool looking Star Wars game trailer that was later canceled and the remake of Kotor in limbo.
Keep expectations in check for a bit.

Only games he’s directed in the last 15 years are mass effect 3 and anthem. Yeah I’m sure this will end well

I'm over brief cinematic teaser trailers announcing games that won't be released for probably a decade or more (if ever).
It's a bad practice and should be condemned in the gaming industry. Hype machines like the game awards feed into the bullshite though

As a point of clarification, I haven’t watched the trailer. I’m hyped purely on the possibility of a new KOTOR

Here's the official article from Star Wars with an interview with the developer. I'd be shocked if this game is released before 2035 at the earliest, if ever. It's just a seed of an idea at this point. Not even sure why you announce it. This game seems destined to take the GTA6 path.

This isn’t a continuation of KOTOR. It’s a spiritual successor, and Disney Star Wars is fake Star Wars.

There's good stuff, most of it being animated. Bad Batch and Rebels. Andor was top notch. But they do strike out a lot. They had a great thing with Mandalorian and then dropped the ball.

This would’ve been amazing back in 2007. I have no confidence in developers these days to carry on the KOTOR torch
