Kentucky lawmaker says she ‘doesn’t feel good being white’ and kids should be taught that shame, too
If anyone still doubts that the Democratic Party’s most zealous foot soldiers are guilt-ridden liberal white women, Kentucky just delivered the latest—and perhaps wildest—proof. One state lawmaker’s jaw-dropping confession of racial self-loathing has exploded across social media, leaving parents, educators, and even seasoned legislators stunned.
It happened Tuesday during a meeting of the Kentucky Interim Joint Committee on Education, where lawmakers were debating a GOP bill aimed squarely at removing DEI ideology from K–12 schools. But instead of discussing education policy, Democratic Rep. Sarah Stalker of Louisville used her time to unveil what can only be described as a masterclass in DEI-induced self-flagellation.
----------------------------------------------------------------
In remarks that would make even the most hardened woke activist blush, Stalker declared, “I’m gonna be honest, I don’t feel good about being white every day, for a lot of reasons.” She explained her anguish by insisting, “Because it’s a point of privilege that I get to move through the world in a way that so many other of my colleagues and friends, and family members of the community don’t get the privilege to do.”
But she didn’t stop there. Stalker—an elected official who shapes education policy for Kentucky kids—went further, lamenting, “And I’m just a female, just a woman, just a white woman. If I was a white man, I’d be functioning from a point of even greater privilege.”
According to her, students should dwell on their skin color and feel the emotional weight of it in the classroom. “I think we’re missing an opportunity when kids – when kids have a moment to reflect about how the color of their skin does and does not allow them to move through the world,” she insisted, before arguing that shielding children from guilt or discomfort is wrong. “Running to them and trying to stifle that and trying to say you shouldn’t feel bad… it’s a missed opportunity for some really good dialogue.”

"School is for feeling guilty about yourself if your white, not learning reading, writing, math, or civics."
This is an actual person in education.
This is literally insane.

This rhetoric makes life worse for everyone. It creates animosity and divisiveness.
People are tired of this.

Someone should set up a “reparations fund” for these self-hating people to give away all their money. Just do your part and shed yourself of that burden.

you should never be apologetic/ashamed by who God made you.

Kentucky has a GOP supermajority in both the House and Senate. This rep is from the biggest dem (and one of like 3) area in the state - Louisville . Definitely not representative of KY legislators as a whole.

Needs professional help. Shouldn’t be allowed around kids until she’s better.

Just imagine being in the next chair over, or even in the same room as this person and being like....."yeah, right on bitch. I believe what your are saying to be true.".

This picture is a cute/attractive woman. What's in the video is evolution into a white liberal count.

We are not the same.

This is one of the many problems of an anti-biblical, anti-Christian worldview. We are taught from God that all people are made in His image with inherent value and dignity, and there there are no superficial differences in appearance that matter in the long-run, so we shouldn't discriminate against others based on things like skin color.
Because of that, there is no reason to have pride or shame in skin color. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by our creator and we should give glory to Him for the blessings of life.

Imagine telling black people that they should be taught to feel bad about being black.

She should follow the twangs on her heart strings = resign her position of privilege, purchase a ticket to Somalia, and donate all her remaining wealth to a good charity.
Because that is precisely what she sublimely wants all of her opponents to do.
Remarks like this should be disqualifying for any position of leadership at any level.
