Those “fishermen” have helped contribute to the deaths of more Americans including children than AQ, Saddam Hussein and the NVA combined.
I think we need to deal with other facets of the equation as well, but they’ve been declared as terror related groups and if they continue to push products that will destroy Americans whatever occurs as they attempt to continue doing that is on them.

Genuine question: why not hit them there...in port...or at their destination?
If they are an imminent threat to the United States in international waters, aren't they a threat in port? I don't think the strikes are illegal, but I would like to see an explanation.
ETA: this location doesn't seem to be Venezuela.

The most insane part of this to me is the left, once again being opposed to an 80/20 issue because orange man bad.
They’d be much more successful recognizing the vast majority of Americans aren’t on the drug cartel’s side and working with Trump on this.
They could then say “see where reasonable on issues that he is reasonable on”.

That just bags of rice and flour for the poor in the U.S. It’s humanitarian aid boats. Nothing to see here.

Because there’s a whole big arse fricking ocean in which nobody else is harmed.

I’m waiting for the narrative to shift to: “gunning down drug boats is poisoning fragile oceanic ecosystems”

That could be seen as an act of war against Venezuela and a violation of sovereign waters and airspace. The target is cartels, many Colombian smuggling through Venezuelan ports. That’s why you hit them in international waters. Also, as the other poster noted, it’s safer.

The Biden Administration, MSM and the Democrat party tower over all of them as they let us be invaded by land, air and sea. We should put all of them on fishing boats and let Hegseth start playing Nautical Missile Command. Go for the high score Pete!

The legal argument is that this is war, though. When we killed Houthi leaders in their homes along with innocent civilians, the civilians were considered just to be justifiable collateral damage.
This is why I think publishing the legal memo that justifies the bombings is necessary.

Not sure, but you may have answered your own question. Striking in international waters is key. Striking in ports is war.

Anti war-on-drugs Rand Paul not on board with this tactic either, huh?
Decades of failed gov policy, Trump tries something new &… the establishment reeee’s.
Shocked face.
It’s almost like they want perpetual drugs flowing into the country.
Wonder why.

Get those internet nerds on this video that can find a location from a piece of grass and a shadow on the ground

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… because that is foreign sovereign soil. That would unquestionably be a direct act of war.
The “fishing boats” are unflagged vessels in international waters.

I definitely am not showing this video to Rog and Bunk at our weekly Bad Orange Man Narco Boat Bros potluck dinner next week. Really, we’d appreciate if you’d take that down.

Careful what you wish for. Trump alluded to possibly doing just that.

Currently, against whom?
In a legal sense of course.

they’ve been declared as terror related groups
And it seems more than just simple coincidence when you consider that the dollar, which used to be backed by gold, is now backed largely by the Petro Dollar.

I view the drug dealers as pirates and it has always been open season on pirates.
