Their property taxes have increased over 30% in the past 5 years and are over 60% higher than the national average. There is also a 9.75% proposed increase for next year. And no audits, oversight or any kind of metrics in place to evaluate performance or results.

I don’t know how we can exist as a country with this type of shite going on.

How can a single person or entity hold us accountable for anything while this shite is going on?

How much better would our lives be if we didn’t have a fraudulent government? These people must be put down.

Right. The government is, and has been for a long time, in breach of contract. Nobody should have to hold up their end of the bargain with the government (adhere to laws) while the government itself is raking its citizens over the coals and stealing all their damn money (and worse).

When you have a corrupt AG that will get re-elected by a core group of citizens no matter what he does…there is no accountability.

Places like MN are similar to the UK in that there is a massive disconnect between big swaths of the population and what the government is doing.

I don't know anyway to describe it other than brainwashing. When government is catering to a minority that seeks to undermine the majority (and the existing government!) - what do you call that? It's just toxic empathy/guilt on a pathological level.

Minnesota is not our country anymore. Its a Somali shithole. They probably all rent, with some kind of us subsidies, and the homeowners are stuck with the taxes...which go to ngos, which elect more lunatic liberals to give refuges more benefits.

It’s not the entire state. It is Minneapolis.

You don’t see Somalis outside the twin cities.

I don't want to hear any more about any of it. Not a single word, until theres some accountability.

Any poster here would have been dragged away in chains. Look what happened to the J6 ers, many who did little or nothing. Yet they were hunted down like rabid dogs.

If no one goes to jail for this, then the justice system has zero credibility.

It used to be true that outside of MSP you did not see many of the refugee folk who have long made up huge parts of that metro area, Somalis included. But not now...now you see them in most medium sized towns.

MSP was used a location for refugee resettlement long before the Somalis. It was a place where Hmong were sent after they left Vietnam for example. The reason is that it was a good Christian city, it's where Billy Graham Evangelistic Association HQ was located. They took care of folks who were in need.

This all changed as the city moved away from being Christian and became more and more leftwing "woke." Its a super white city for its size, highly educated and full of radicals who have come to be at the center of the nonprofit/NGO racket. It's corrupt now but it was not the Somalis who made it so, they are just the most recent crop to be exploited and to come to exploit themselves the corruption of the progressive economic model.
