But, but, but…

They were going to keep Weis, Jr. He only signed a MOU at LSU.

Why would they want to keep the offense from the guy that had nothing to do with their success

Very good hire for continuity. Lane loves JDB and thinks he'll be a star. Didn't have much talent at ECU but produced a lot of yards and points. Always a level of uncertainty whenever a DC takes over a successful offensive team so glad to see Pete follow through on his word there.

Are you claiming that Ole Miss is saying this?

Just a dig at a small portion of their fans, most are reasonably reasonable

But this is a good hire for them if it wasn't gonna be Weis

Poor rebels. This ends their fantasy that Weis and the rest were leaving LSU to go back to Ole Miss for good.

Ole Miss is dumb for trying to get him to change his mind, finding out he wasn’t, and pivoting to another really good OC with multiple options to pick from… what clowns!

Only working in absolutes must be very tiring.

Yea but Lane didn’t have much to do with y’all’s success so I wouldn’t put much value into his opinion on coaches amirite?

Their AD wants everything ever tied to LK to come back to his barnyard. What a hypocrite clown.
