A potential solution to keep Frank Wilson

Keep him at RB coach. If will allow him to recruit.
Kevin Smith can be an analyst, which allows him to coach running backs on the field, but not recruit off site.
Otherwise, I don’t see Wilson being retained.

We’ve won 3 National Championships since 2003 and Frank wasn’t on any of those staffs. We will be just fine.

Not sure if it was all Frank but waiting till November to notice Harlem Berry is the best back wasn’t great.

Wish Frank could find a role that he wants but Smith is a former NFL back that Lanes wanted with him. 8 years together says it all. Lanes running concepts are much more complex than sloan calling the same running Play 80% of the time. It's alot to teach the young backs and lane and Kevin have a great system. If Frank stayed at RB coach he would have to teach Frank with the rbs. RBs will not be a problem to bring in. But I hope he stays a Tiger. Don't want him at Ole miss recruiting NO

I remember when he was head coach at OP Walker and was trying to force his way into college. Ole Miss elevated him and it took off.

It’s my first post about him.
I’m not sure why you feel that it is stupid.
Frank is retained.
He recruits for LSU (not Ole Miss).
He no longer coaches the running backs (despite the title).

As a coach, I don't get the Frank crying.
