Who do you think gets in? Does head to head matchups even matter anymore?

ND but should be Miami. Why swap them now?

Personally, I think they set a precedent tomorrow and put both of them in and leave out Bama as they want the standard for three loss teams getting in to be higher. Itd be different if Bama had lost close in their two losses but they got killed.

Notre Dame is jumping Bama.

If you think Notre Dame is missing the playoffs, you should go bet it because it's like +850 right now.

ND is in at 9

And Alabama will be in at 10

I don't agree but that's how it will be.

The committee will use Alabama as a buffer between ND and Miami so they don't have to account for the H2H loss

I agree with that. They will say they viewed those three teams in a pod and so head-to-head for Miami over Notre Dame can't be the biggest factor because it's 3 teams who didn't all play each other.

shite, they can lie and say BYU or some other team is in the pod too. They can do whatever they want.

The UVA athletics director is on the selection committee. She is the only person on the 12-member committee with direct ties to the ACC currently. I am not sure she'll be able to lobby hard enough that the ACC should get a team.

Why Miami or ND? Neither one deserves it. They are being picked because of the name!

Why not both? Alabama should be in the outhouse.

If ESPN wants to pressure ND into joining the ACC getting the committee to jump Miami over them might do it.

However, if ESPN wants the ACC to collapse so they can dump all the small private schools they may stan for Notre Dame.

Either way, Xanatos wins.

There's a reason the $$ Committee flip-flopped ND-Bama last week for no apparent reason...

Oh, they had a reason. They did this last year. All year long the rankings were static if you played and won or if you had a bye...until they weren't, until the final two weeks, then they moved the chess pieces at the end to set up their preferred ending.

This star chamber ain't organic.

They're not even going to count the SEC championship game...what they did last week proves it.

Miami is more talented than Alabama team is. A much bigger disappointing season with super cupcakes and being a much more talented team. Bama beat UGA and made the sec title game with this group I have no idea how. None of that is any kind of playoff factor just how I see the two teams. I think Miami would defeat Alabama unfortunately but just send us to Aggie land with a hope and a prayer and not much else. It might be time

If this is the case, teams should go independent and schedule 12 cupcakes
