Jake Fischer: And there are definitely teams that believe that have told me as recently as today that New Orleans is now starting to listen and at least show some type of willingness to listen on guys like Herb Jones and Trey Murphy as well. And those guys are going to have a lot of interest around the league.

If we trade Trey and Herb and keep Zion, I'm out.

If we get a 1st for all three (not saying we will) are there enough players from the DC area for us to draft?

Just trey alone should net multiple 1sts. If not then you don’t trade him. Herb and Z can go for whatever we can get

I'd guess a Herb trade probably comes down to either Golden State or the Lakers. Warriors seem to have more to offer...but Lakers would probably benefit MORE...from landing Herb...so they might get very creative to make it happen.

They highly outperform their contracts which can be a huge upside to a team that’s tight on space and competiting. At this point I wouldn’t mind dumping both and Zion for multiple 1sts. We need a complete reset. Herb hasn’t been the same since his injury.

Trade Trey and Zion.
Herb is still a good defender.

The reason that would happen is because Z's value is low and if we can get other assets for Trey/ Herb AND end up with more for Z in the future then that's better than trading Z for cheap now and still trading Trey/ Herb for the same packages anyway. The only thing that changes is the value of Zion. It would have absolutely nothing to do with picking him over them or trying to keep him.

We always wait too long to trade players. Y'all want to get pissed off about us holding onto Z, BI, etcc too long but then want to scream about us trading Trey/ Herb when they actually have value. Makes no damn sense. Think about what y'all are saying and how we got here.

Pahaha!!! Exactly!!!! The love affair from Dumars & Weavers with players only from Maryland/ DC area will be more than an assumption if they draft guys from that area again in the upcoming draft!!!

Trade all 3. It’s past time to blow it up and give Fears/Queen 32+ minutes a night.

It’s going to be have to be a bane level trade for them to even accept

For Herb? Closer to 1/3 of the Bane trade.

In my opinion the best scenario may be to package them together. Z has value, not alot but value. If you send that team (1) of Trey/ Herb along with Z then you are probably getting more than Herb/ Z separately.

And maybe not even "more" but the better single asset which is most important. I'd rather trade Z + Herb straight up for Kon if it gets it done > (3) mediocre 1sts for those guys. Just an example.

You need to stop thinking in terms of winning in the short term. You need to trade guys for assets. He is a good defender, which means he has value and should be traded. If they’re blowing it up, which they should be, then Herb being a good defender is useless for the Pelicans as they’re not going to be good for the next 3 years minimum anyway.

When our pick ends up 1 overall and the pacers pick is 5th overall I might throw up.

The Pacers wouldn't be 5th if they didn't have their own pick. Getting their pick back allowed them to be cool with sucking arse this year regardless of Hali.

if we are resetting then you have to move Herb, his skill set and age does not fit the reset time line. I can see a playoff team really wanting Herb.

I think we will get the most for Trey, bc of his 3 pt shooting.

Zion move him for whatever.

Murray ? not sure what to do, if somebody makes a good offer, move him, but I would like to see him play with DQ and Fears. But Murray is 29 years old.

Poole, move him if possible.

Keeping:

DQ and Fears

Want to keep (as role players) but throw in a trade if needed.
Jose, Peevy, Messi, Bey (Forgot him on the og post)

McGowen has been solid, you keep him as a role player.

Kalo reminds me of a better version of Jaxon Hayes, so doesn't matter keep or move

Hawkens please move
