After many years of watching, I think I am burned out on most of Youtube

Too many thumbnails like this:
Too many things described as ‘crazy’ or ‘insane’
Too many jump cuts and scenes that last 1 second or less.
Too many and too loud sound effects.
Too much talking and people (who aren’t actors) trying to act funny or outrageous in a video.
‘In this video we drag race a Supra and Corvette!’
Halfway through the 20 minute video they are still talking about the race that hasn’t happened yet.

I've continued to find new channels to watch, so I don't know what you're complaining about. YouTube is ridiculously massive. There are 'top' channels I've never even heard of.

YouTube is an endless sea of complete garbage.
It's all so fake and inorganic. Everything is driven by metrics. Very few people just making stuff they like purely for kicks.
Google has also ruined the search. It's almost impossible to find relevant items searching. It aggressively shows you what is most profitable for them, not what you actually want to see.

YouTube is the mecca for military history content these days. That's what I spend much of my free time watching these days. Either that or reading books.

Most “youtubers” talk wayyyy too much before getting to the topic of the video.
And the videos my kids watch with all the over dramatic yelling drives me crazy

I can still find good content but the AI generated documentaries and education type videos are annoying. They’re all the same

I steer clear of those random doc vids with AI voices and editing. I've pointed out multiple mistakes, big ones, and moved on. Give it a downvote and clear from your viewing history.
