I don't follow ESPN recruiting. FWIW, this year's ranking isn't much to go by with only 14 commits.
It was Kelly's original plan to go light in HS recruiting and then load up in the portal.
I'm not sure how Kiffin feels about that strategy.

ESPN always props up Bama, UGA and certain Big10 recruits as soon as they commit to those schools. Has happened for years, nothing new

We got the most important part. The Defensive line. We've got plenty of good young linebackers and whit will likely return. I'm not worried about the offense. Kiffs, going to handle his in the portal. Keeping the guys that we want from the current roster and we'll be good

ESPN has been horrible at recruiting for the past 10 + years. Never forget when they changed star ratings of 5 Alabama players on siging day

Who gives a shite. We have unreal signings compared to 25+ guys signing. Look at the bigger classes. Lots of 3stars mixed in there. This class will be very special especially on defense
