House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) recently criticized proposed college sports legislation, the SCORE Act, by mockingly calling it the "Lane Kiffin Protection Act" and suggesting that LSU's hiring of Kiffin highlighted flaws in the bill and the current Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape.

Setting aside the fact that the federal government has no authority to do anything with any sports anywhere, I find it amusing that a low IQ loser of a Congressman would feign to refer to anyone or anything else as corrupt. What a joke of a human being.

College Football needs serious reform, but I don’t know if Congress is who has the authority to regulate it. College football is such a hodgepodge of decentralized authority controlled by tv money and quasi-government agencies.

Federal dollars have federal strings attached. Only a handful of schools, like Hillsdale College, don’t have to worry about this.
