It’s signing day- anybody seen Penn State’s coach?

What a disaster this has turned into for them. The only thing that could redeem them is they have had the quietest deal ever in place with a playoff team and are content to wait until their run is over. But that is outlandish. They have screwed the pooch on this one.

Looks like Penn State is going to have to fire their AD as well and have someone else bring in a coach ASAP.

They really do. Only for a few years. He'll stabilize the program, but he won't win half of his top 25 games. Luckily in the Big 10, that's good for 10-2 most seasons.

They had four players committed last I saw last night. Signing day is today. If nobody wanted the job before they definitely don’t want it now.

I know BK got shite for going from ND to LSU, but you don't leave Bama for Penn State. Unless they fire Deboer, he's not going anywhere and if they do fire him, Saban better be coming back.
They need to hire Dabo. He'll have no choice but to embrace the portal because it's all he'll have.

Penn St needs to go hire Matt Patricia. He's a new england/new york guy. Spent a year with ohio st. Further guts ohio st staff with Hartline leaving as well. Patricia spent a year with Eagles in philly. Hire Patricia and play the long game. Give him some time and resources. He's a good football coach.

signing day means very little anymore. For a third of the guys that sign today it is just their "starting point". They will play for two maybe 3 schools in their career. The portal is the thing now..

Dan Mullen is looking like a good choice for them at this point.
