Where IS Maryland Dad? I lost track of him in the news cycle.
Eggs are 15.9¢ where I am.

$3.12 for a dozen, white, HEB brand Grade AA cage free eggs at my local HEB yesterday.
$3.26 for 18 Hill Country brand Grade A, which comes out to a nice $2.17/dozen.

I got 2 dozen Eggland's Best Eggs at Rouse's about a month ago for $3.00.
Not concerned about eggs.

Everything is expensive.
Period.
I dont think this admin can do much to reduce the price of everything.
I think they can maybe stop the increase?
I have no clue though.

I think the tariffs will work. After they are complete Chynah needs called out.
Eggs and gasoline prices are down. $7 for a wee small bag of pecans for pecan pie. And coffee is a bit asinine. Order community coffee from Amazon.
Trump is doing great. We will all be silenced and sent to reeducation camps under President Mark Kelly/AOC. Will they put Trump in prison immediately or wait a month?

It is almost impossible to reduce prices as a whole without having a recession. Trump was never going to be able to lower prices as a whole. He can only contain the inflation on the inflated costs.

I paid 1.89 a dozen this week

He's still here. Last I heard Costa Rica has agreed to take him, but the Trump Administration is holding out for some place much more punitive....
AI sez:
"Abrego Garcia is charged in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee with conspiracy to transport aliens and unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens, stemming from a 2022 traffic stop in which he was found driving with nine passengers.
Prosecutors allege he made over 100 trips transporting undocumented immigrants and drugs across the country, citing evidence including hundreds of phone calls to alleged co-conspirators and inappropriate communications with a minor.
He has pleaded not guilty and is challenging the charges as vindictive prosecution, arguing the indictment was retaliation for successfully contesting his wrongful deportation.
U.S. District Judge Waverly Crenshaw has acknowledged “some evidence that the prosecution against him may be vindictive,” citing public statements by Trump administration officials, including Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who suggested the charges were brought because Abrego Garcia won his deportation case.
A hearing on motions to dismiss the charges and suppress evidence from the 2022 traffic stop is scheduled for December 8–9, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration has sought to deport Abrego Garcia to third countries, including Uganda, Eswatini, Ghana, and most recently Liberia, despite his legal team emphasizing he has no ties to these nations.
A federal judge in Maryland, Paula Xinis, previously blocked his deportation to Uganda, expressing concerns about potential retaliation and due process violations.
His legal team has filed habeas corpus petitions to prevent removal to any third country until his immigration and criminal cases are resolved.
Abrego Garcia, who has lived in Maryland for years and has a U.S. citizen wife and child, is also pursuing an asylum claim in immigration court.
He remains in federal custody as the legal proceedings continue."

This is common practice. Prosecutors will drop some charges with the ability to reinstate them down the road if you mess up. Garcia messed up by refusing to leave the country. So, now he gets to pay for more crimes.
It's really not worth throwing the case out just because the prosecutors were given evidence for a new crime after the gangbanging human trafficker was initially arrested.
How many times did Gotti win a case only to be charged with new crimes? This is nothing new for career criminals. If you don't want to be charged with human trafficking, then don't traffic women. It's pretty simple.

I paid $2.12 in Biloxi with the .10 cent discount for Love's app users.

I noticed an immediate 10cent drop the day after Thanksgiving. There was a clear bump ahead of the holiday week, but then it's been dropping like a stone since.
