Last year it was all the rage, bears everywhere, the 400 lb coon destroying feeders, stands, camps.

Showing up in peoples yards and leases, trail cam pics all over the place and taking over North Louisiana. .

Haven't heard anything about them this season.

Between the ones killed legally and the SSS they probably are starting to act like wild animals and avoiding humans.

We've got plenty of them at our lease. Still tearing up shite. I wish they would focus on eating pigs.

I saw four on stand one afternoon and another riding back to camp. Another saw seven in one sit. Plenty of bears. Allowing some hunting helps folks tolerate them a bit better.

They are everywhere in west Feliciana

In the hills they’re there. Don’t know too much about them in the bottomlands but I’m sure they’re there.

People have adapted to them being around, more strategies regarding feeding to minimize the damage. No sense bitching about something that is the norm now.

I haven't seen an armadillo at my lease in 2 years. In 2023 I would see 4 or 5 everytime I hunted or rode around.

you think its because of bears or are you just pointing out another animal that you don't see much anymore?

The absolute surge of armadillos in SW ms following the miserable summer of '23 might've led to an overpopulation and disease.

Hopefully those bears acquire a taste for the pigs there and not the deer. I have never seen so many pigs in my life in that area.
