If I was DeBoer I'd be looking for another position.

Nothing he does or accomplishes at Bama will satisfy their fans. No coach at Bama will ever come close to the run Saban had, but the Bama fans can't grasp that fact.

I hope he stays there for a long time. They will have plenty of good seasons, but will never be a Saban led Bama team. They will always be beatable.

I think we're all pretty happy right now to have just beaten Auburn and be about to play in the SECCG with a potential trip to the CFP to follow.

The crazies might not like him but the money boosters and admin love him because Saban told them to. His job is safe for several more years.

Y’all are a shell of what you used to be 7-8 years ago. And trending toward mediocrity. The decline happens slowly

To me, following Saban is just a death trap in the NIL era. Alabama will burn through a couple before one settles in.

No program will be what Bama was 8 years ago. That time has passed. Ohio State and now LSU with Kiffin have the best chance to replicate it but both will fall a fair bit short of the bar Saban set.

It's almost like there's only one Saban. Even in his last couple of seasons Saban had more one score wins than ever.

No one will ever be Bama because of NIL.

Yeah, you might want to tell your fanbase that.

You know the old saying about never wanting to follow a legend. DaBoer is in a no win situation.

Yeah

I have to give DeBoer credit for being man enough to try to follow a legend. He’s not Saban and it’s really not fair to him or anyone to even compare but it’s natural that fans compare anyway.

The guy’s from Idaho too. And his wife divorced him because she didn’t want to live in Tuscaloosa. Can’t blame her either.

But you aren't DeBoer. You are a total moron that makes tons of stupid threads on a message board.

Those Saban teams were three deep with guys that would have started anywhere else at almost every position. That will never happen again for any coach on any team in the NIL era.

He's not much of a head coach.

This team is poorly coached, the self inflicted wounds are gonna keep them from making the playoffs once again.

They got divorced? She doesn't live in Tuscaloosa?

Where do you guys come up with this stuff

Saban became beatable when he couldn’t stack his roster and his process became useless. No one had to deal with that level of rigidity to get paid once NIL came along. It’s why he retired.
