99% of people in media are clowns. Always have been, we are just realizing it more now. Joe Blow can start a YouTube channel and do a better job than ESPN now

That was never more evident than what happened with Marty Smith Saturday. That was absolutely embarassing how far behind he was on all of that.

I actually don't mind Joel Klatt. I hear him on the radio for a segment each week on The Ticket in DFW. I haven't seen what he has been saying on the Lane move.
But on that front, yes he went to another school with more opportunity long term that is loaded with in-state talent who all want to play at LSU. However he wanted to finish the season with the team and OM said no.

Marty Smith's problem is that he believed his friendship with Kiffin gave him an "in." When Kiffin brushed him aside on the field after the Egg Bowl, it was obvious Marty Smith wasn't going to know anything more than anyone else.

Klatt and everyone that works big noon kickoff for Fox are the biggest Ohio State homers on planet earth. Every player they have is "the best in the country" according to them. They said Jeremiah Smith was the best player in the country from game 1 this year.

I love how when the job came open he said lsu was at worst the number 3 job in America. So unless you’re at 1 or 2 or even a top 10 in a great place, you’d think a coach could be forgiven for making the move.

My uncle was a clown, respectable guy and loved his craft, he died a handful of years ago (FYI - the cause of death was unrelated to being a clown), and it pains me to see folks disrespect clowns across the world by comparing them to various members of the media.
