QB, D and O line, defense, offensive scheme, OC, DC, HC, GM or owner.

Could be all of the above but in your opinion?

Mickey Loomis

Edit: and its not even close. Not resetting early enough, wasting a contract on Carr the same year as a loaded qb class, losing Hendrickson and baun when you wanted to play favorites with locker room guys, missing on the oline draft picks, missing on the wr picks, missing on the rb picks, mismanaging the cap, never having enough cap space to supplement our weak spots because you kept deferring salary and restructuring old players that weren't elite anymore.

Off the field? Whoever was scouting our draft picks since 2017.

On the field? Interior o-line.

Shough has to move the pocket every single time he drops back to pass, and the running game is nonexistent in between the tackles.

Tom died and a bunch of guys who know nothing about football told the new owner "we think we can still be pretty good... we still have a season ticket waiting list!"

virtually every franchise goes through a 3 to 4 year period where they win 5 games or less due to aging stars, key injuries, and the growing pains of young players. The Saints check the box on all three. This fan base has gotten spoiled over the past 20 years when they won at lease 7 games and often had double figure victoreis. They remained a very competitive team from 2006 through 2023. It may take another year or two but the Saints will be contending for a playoff berth again in as other teams begin to slide while the Saints rise.

All of our problems start and end with the offensive line. Our D is good enough to win games with. We could have Josh Allen on offense and he would be getting blown up.

I agree with everything you said about Loomis instead of Baun. Baun is 100% on Dennis Allen. DA had him playing out of position, and more of a solid to exceptional special team guy. Loomis offered him a contract based on this, and Baun gambled on himself and said he wanted to go somewhere to have an opportunity for more playing time on the defensive side.

Eagles only gave him a 1 year $3.5M contract. I don't recall the terms, but the deal from the Saints was comparable and may have even been a little more.

O line > DLine >/ Secondary > Everything else.

We need everything but that's the priorities for me for the offseason, cant fix it all. Don't need to draft a Rb, WR, or TE if the Oline still sucks, LB can wait, Shough has shown enough I dont want any of the available QB's.

Mickey Loomis and any answer outside of this is incorrect.

We had a HOF HC and QB. We have neither now and you expect the same results in a year or 2? Lmao.

Still have to draft enough new talented players to rise. We currently have Olave who most NFL teams would love as their number 2, Johnson who is a TE 2 on most good teams and then absolutely nothing in terms of skilled players that are more than just a guy in the nfl. We have an interior O line that is just awful.

It’s amazing Shough is showing promise given what he was shoved into. Honestly I wouldn’t care if we drafted all interior o line and weapons in April. This is going to take multiple drafts.

Overall lack of talent. That starts with Loomis and trickles down.

The owner. If the owner would do her job, the GM problem would be solved.
