Richard Anderson and Lamar Brown both shut down recruitment and will sign this week, that’s a good indication that Baker will be staying

He will be a candidate, but they went with a lower G5 head coach in Sumrall next time. There are some pretty good ones for them to choose from right now. Huff is right up the road in Hattiesburg.

He makes 2.5 million a year at LSU. That keeps a lot of programs away. I heard Sumrall was making around $3 million at Tulane so he won’t leave LSU for money reasons.

He would have been fine this season if LSU had an offense. Defensive continuity is important. One reason why LSU’s defenses have sucked since 2020 is because of the constant DC turnover.
