Ole Miss AD should be fired

He has literally left Ole Miss holding the bag as their program destructs with zero out options now. Has been out maneuvered by his coach by delaying tough decisions.

Tell kiffin he isn’t coaching the team and let him go to LSU so ole miss can start a coaching search. Kieth is the one that drug this out for a week+.

What was he supposed to do? Chain Kiffin up at the ops center in the cell where they have Marty?
Outside of trying to match the offer from LSU--which they did, I don't know how this is the AD's fault.

If he told Killin to frick off he should be promoted. If he allowed him to continue for one second when he was going somewhere else, he should be fired

Look at Tulane. Doing it right.
Announcement. School acknowledges the coach leaving but allows him to coach another game. (Not sure about playoffs) but this allows a handoff and thus continuity in the program.
This is why they are building a program and why OM just has a football team.
Perfect example of why LK saw a better opportunity.

The boosters wanted the ultimatum. They get played by kiffin every single year. They were done. And they really thought he was gonna leave this time, and they were right.

Kiffin held them hostage. I’d imagine he knew all along he was leaving but strung ole miss along, hoping they’d let him finish the season before he bolted. OM AD wasn’t going to fire Kiffin and forced an ultimatum after the egg bowl. Meanwhile other teams were scheming and locked in their coaches before Kiffin news became final.
Really not much OM could do. Kiffin just royally screwed them.
