He claims he used a line from a rap song as a metaphor BUT NEVER directly called Lane a "hoe".

May have hit a nerve. It’s clear Lane has remorse for his infidelity years ago, and even as a college football coach, has made it a priority to mend that relationship for not only him and his wife, but also his children.
