How so? Dude wants to coach his team through the end of season but also knows it’s his best chance at a top 5 job.

Huh? This is probably the most public back and forth ever for a coach. His family was going on recruiting trips publicly while he’s coaching a playoff contender. He’s done absolutely nothing to limit the speculation and noise. It’s wild considering if he beats a team with a losing record he’s in the playoffs

He’s said for years he won’t talk about it until after the season, and literally nothing has changed. Anyone upset at him one way or another is a moron and took/taking rumors too seriously. I’m still 100% convinced Lane hasn’t made up his mind as of this second, and probably won’t until tomorrow post-yoga session. If he stays at Ole Miss, he won’t have flipped; just as if he goes to LSU, he won’t have kept his word. He hasn’t made a decision, and I’m sorry if that hurts anyone’s feelings, but it’s true.
