Deer hunt
LA area 9
37 degrees, partly cloudy with 6 mph NE winds
Remington 700 in 7 mag, leupold 3x9x40 and 140 grain hornady interlock handloads
Tripod on
Marathon pipeline through a knee deep cypress/ tupelo swamp awaiting LST. Brown it’s down, I’m hungry and had enough turkey and dressing. Need fried backstrap and homemade French fries tonight. Good luck to all out today.

Ted Williams .270 - Original scope from Sears catalog- Grandfather’s rifle

Saw a nice 10-point yesterday in the evening. This scope on my rifle makes it difficult here are my parents - or hesitant perhaps is a better word. My BiL has the feeder like 220 yards away.
Baw was supposed to come with me this am and bring his rifle and of course no showed
