The secondary market fueled by corporations/ticket resellers buying up tickets have ruined it.

Every game has 1/3 or more of the other team’s fans in the stands.

I could not agree more. Technology has killed home field advantage. I miss the days of not having to worry about opposing fans in your home stadium.

Doesn’t KC want to build a new domed stadium because Arrowhead is so shitty?

Yes. And I’m strongly against said proposal.

Does that happen when home fans show up?

Tickets have gotten expensive. You can reduce the cost by selling one or two games.

100%. Especially when the right 2/3 games, can subsidize the other 5.

Expensive prices, secondary markets, everyone playing in a sterile dome because the owners want to try to host one Super Bowl and a Final 4 before they build another venue. Yeah…I have no desire to spend an arm and a leg to attend a game.

We do this song and dance all the time. Live experience is just not as good as at home with your own food, drink, rest room anymore.

I’m taking my son to Bills/bengals next week. There wasn’t a ticket to be found for under $200. That isn’t even a Marquee game.

I don’t blame fans for selling. The prices are insane

Was wondering if the OPs premise is actually real.
And based on some quick searches, it appears to be the case.
One thing I also found out is that it's a different story in the playoffs. Home team wins at a ridiculous clip, but a couple of things to note with that are seeding and sample size for the playoffs. Which skews the data.

KC is a big afterthought city. They’re just happy to have something.
