This is the sort of thing which will continue until enough people on the Left become willing to recognize that there are incompatible cultures. When one such culture enters a host culture's geography, they will seek to convert the host culture rather than assimilate themselves to it.

In small numbers they will assimilate. It's the large groups that take 3rd world shitholism with them wherever they go.

Problem is the numbers.When they come over in small numbers and scatter, they really have no choice but to assimilate. When they bring a whole town, they can get their needs met within their own circles with no need to change.

Agreed, but if their migration ends up providing a better life for themselves and their families, that will attract others from the culture. As the size of the incompatible culture increases, newer members assimilate less and less until they reach a point where they can resist it completely and begin reverting the assimilated while trying to force conversion on the hosts.
It's an inevitability for aggressive cultures.

Yep, this is the issue. I really don't generally care about people from other countries moving here, regardless of their race/religion etc.
But this is the land of the free(or use to be) and liberty. And if you aren't coming here to assimilate and be part of that, then you are an invader and should be treated as such.
The biggest problem is welfare which promotes them to come here for reasons other than wanting freedom and to work etc. Then they just add to the people who want to vote themselves more of other peoples property.

That being said, why are you jumping to the conclusion that the shooter as an "Islamic terrorist?" The articles I have seen say that he was a ten-year veteran of the Afghan Army and had long fought alongside American troops.
I suspect that his motivations (if he was not just crazy) are far more complex than you assert.
