All of these people know this is good for views, even if it's obvious they don't know anything that isn't common knowledge.
Watching Pate be all over the place with this in the past few weeks is a good example. He claims to be talking to Kiffin daily, tweets he knows where Kiffin will be coaching next year "and all I can say is Wow", but then predicts he'll be at LSU which is practically everyone else's guess.
This is prime hunting season for them, and they know how to bait.
