He has a lot of friends and sources that are lawyers. But I’d say he is hit and miss.

The sooner people understand that national talking heads have very little or no inside information the better. The ones that get inside information get it from agents. And generally those are leaks when a hiring is imminent.

Chuck Oliver is a long time sports talk radio guy out of Atlanta. His area of expertise is in college football and he has a college football segment every day.
He is pretty funny, and a good listen.

Oliver is an Atlanta guy that does the primetime slot on 93.7 and has been in that slot for nearly 20 years. He’s really good with college football. His an auburn grad so explains the Aubie fans in the chat.
He also does a stand alone college football only show at nights.
Atlanta radio is filled with carpet baggers (Shapiro, Dimino, Chellini) and others who are morons but Chuck is one of the best.
Pretty stunned by his take here. He has zero LSU connections. If it were Auburn, Georgia or Tech, he’d be better versed.
I’ll reiterate that even though Kiffin is the loud choice and target for LSU, this entire thing has had very minimal leaks, if any. Quite surprising.

I heard that and immediately changed the station. That runs contrary to everything anyone is hearing. He must have gotten his info from Tim Brando.

He was a football coach at South Gwinnett High School when I was there in late 80’s early 90’s. Thats all I got.
