Bama thinks they’ll get Kiffin if DeBoer loses to Auburn and gets canned

If the rumors are true, and Ole Miss has given Kiffin a deadline to make a decision, then Kiffin should call the university’s bluff. Kiffin doesn’t have to make a choice until he wants to make a choice. If Alabama loses to Auburn, then maybe that changes things. With a loss to Auburn, DeBoer would officially be labeled Tuscaloosa’s modern-day Ray Perkins. That’s tough to overcome. Perkins is the coach who took over after Paul Bryant retired from Alabama. He wasn’t terrible, but Perkins lacked the necessary temperament for Alabama. Instead of waiting to eventually be fired, he left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If Alabama loses the Iron Bowl, and DeBoer doesn’t like sitting on the Tide’s hot seat, then leaving for Penn State could suddenly be an option.

What a delusional fanbase. Imagine firing a coach when he has only been there for barely 2 years

That article doesn't say he gets canned. It says he bolts for Penn St.

Neither happening, but the latter is slightly less delusional

They better get ready for a battle

because Auburn has lost every game by one possession

the new QB ran all over last weekend

should be exciting game as always!

The only people talking about Bama booting DeBoer outside a couple of posers are fans of other teams.

Yeah, losing Saturday would be disappointing, but nothing close to firing him. That's silly. I'd much rather have DeBoer than Kiffin as HC...not even close.

Yea it’s amazing how Desantis can tweet stuff about UF football and nobody says anything. Same shite happens at LSU and it’s a big deal

This is why the media and the SEC can blow me.

That can’t be right. Gumps on the board have spent all weekend hammering away at their keyboards about how shitty of a human and coach Kiffin is, and that he is decidedly not up to par for the vaunted Alabama…

He flew up to Oxford for the UF game at the height of the Lane to UF rumors and no one said a thing about their governor meddling in the search

I have Kiffin #1 and DeBoer #2 but that’s just me. No way Bama fires DeBoer and if they do and we lose Kiffin you bring DeBoer in.
