I'd flip USC and Michigan...otherwise, the top 5 actual blue bloods is correct.
Corndogs have Saban Derangement Syndrome. Same sad posts over and over.

It's not like Kentucky is always on here crying about Bear Bryant.

My thinking is that if Mack hasn't clearly separated after this many years in the system, I'm on the Keelon train.

Until he throws his first INT lol. Seriously...ready to ride with KR for the next 2 seasons.
Maybe little 'ol Bama can sneak up on a couple of teams. Guess we'll see.
Who was the "anonymous source" feeding the NYT?

Al.commie is owned by a NY media group...start there.

Same. Not Saban returning to Tiger Stadium the first time level, but it's going to be interesting to see what stupid things Lane says leading up to it.
Alabama aside, because I love our color scheme and uniforms, my favorites are Florida St, Southern Cal and Florida (but not the blue on blue).
Is that real?

Saw the topic and figured AJ going away...but a man's fat head on your thigh probably wins.

No idea what goes through people's minds getting that crap.

Still the greatest play I've ever seen. They can say it was a "non play" all they want...but we know better. Forced them to take the penalty waaaaay back up the field instead of the huge gain.
Van Tiffin's The Kick Iron Bowl is the first one I really remember being invested in as a kid...even though I watched games before that.

Hoping for KR from first play on.

Mack is there if KR inexplicably is horrible, but I'm on board letting the young guy grow...especially now that you basically get 2 mulligans and still make the CFP.
Mack's limited game reps didn't really scream starter last year either.

That’s the excuse, but it is a ruse because Alabama put up a better fight than Oregon who was behind 35-7 at the half. Oregon tacked on a couple of meaningless TDs in the 2nd half while losing 56-22. Alabama was down 17-0 in the 3rd qtr, driving for a possible score when they lost their QB.

Good point.

But it's lost on fans that seem more intent on putting the program down more than opposing fans do.

You'd have thought DeBoer went 7-5 in both of his seasons with the way people act...which, by the way, would get you a lifetime contract extension at auburn these days.

38-3 is like what we did to Michigan State in 2015. Nobody took Sparty as serious contender again after that.

Saban's Bama lost to Clemson 44-16 in the title game...comparable to 38-3 in the arse kicked dept. New starting QB the following season...and Bama was preseason #3 the following season.

Yeah, win and it all shakes out...but I'm just saying the current players should be embarrassed to be thought of the least of any Bama team in the past 18 years coming into a season. Not exactly the Bama Standard...if that matters to them anymore between meetings with their agents and portal value projections.

I care about the program's perception and reputation. We've been the standard during multiple periods...not just the Saban Dynasty.

We were just in the CFP...won a playoff game...top 5 ranked recruiting classes. I do think it's a slap in the face to be 13 factoring all that in.

Ohio St will have a new QB next season...think they'll be preseason #13?

Disrespect to the program.

New QB...sure, not top 5 or anything, but 13 is a slap to the face.
Auburn's picture looks like 5 losing seasons in a row to me.
Seems really petty to destroy your legacy over being butthurt over a number.

A guy winning the Heisman with 3 losses should just be thankful and move along.
Yet somehow destroyed Nick Saban's LSU team 31-0 lol.

Fridays with Fran on his website...good times.

Hold the Rope!!!
Florida looks like a good deal for in-state students.

Never understood why anyone would pay out of state tuition for a public out of state college. There are 2-3 public universities that might justify it, but the vast majority do not. Maybe if you receive really good scholarships...but paying full price for out of state is nuts 99% of the time.
