I hate, HATE, that he is perpetuating that stereotype.
He should cool it a little with the country bumpkin BS he seems to like to embrace.

"Considering race when it doesn't benefit me...racism!"
Democrats just trying to rile up minorities in an election year to manipulate their votes...as usual.

My kid is starting Bama in the fall.
If an in-state student gets 30 minimum ACT plus has the GPA, they get full tuition rides.
Now like everyone else, they jack up the room/board costs, but it's still pretty solid. Auburn costs are similar, but they didn't offer quite as much scholarship wise...and we're obviously biased and he wanted to go to UA. Auburn is a good school...but honestly Bama's campus blows it away. More local kids here seem to go to Auburn (also it's an easier drive), but seems there were a few more choosing Bama than in the recent past this year. Maybe they just want to experience an actual winning football season...who knows.

He’s gunning for a title and will follow manning to nfl or will go his own nfl way if Texas doesn’t get there.
Don't know if a team has ever had a more championship or bust spotlight heading into a season. Preseason #1s always have pressure, but they've definitely gone all in with everything for 2026.

Football only donations are all that really matter at the end of the day.
To be fair, those figures do include the cost of personalized, hand crafted bullet proof vests for players venturing out in Baton Rouge.

I'm sure that matters for around 1% of transfers. They're all money whores more concerned with credit cards than credit hours. That's what an unelected, no name doofus judge turned the sport into. Talking academics in relation to college football was funny 10 years ago...today it's downright hilarious.
nothing like starting the season with the absolute worst kickoff time possible.

Basket weaving won't be replaced by AI.

Granted, Bama getting beat by double digits even during rare losses were anomalies, but it did happen.
Growing up in the 80s I was a huge Braves fan...TBS every game. After the '95 World Series I gradually lost interest...After marriage and kids football 1 game a week just became easier to follow.

I don't agree with ANY of these football contracts...for years they've been too one sided with ridiculous buyout clauses with ADs bending over for agents like every coach is Nick Saban. Pay them whatever you want, but nothing should be guaranteed beyond 1 year's salary.
That being said, I'm glad DeBoer is our coach. Outside of Kirby there isn't a coach in the SEC better to me...and he's 2-1 against Kirby.
But the reality is that this is Alabama...the premiere all-time program in the sport. DeBoer won't be fully embraced by fans until he brings Bama a national championship.
Nick Saban wasn't exactly thought of as "Nick Saban" by fans after that 2007 loss to La-Monroe.
But he did manage to redeem himself lol.

Auburn Faculty Condemns Trump As Hitler
Auburn has their fair share of leftwing lunatic faculty. Notice no faculty from The University of Alabama signed off on the letter...but honestly, I'm sure they just didn't have the opportunity. University faculty are littered with socialist leftwing assclowns everywhere.

people should be celebrating the fact that we're actually getting OOC regular season games of this caliber.
This. I like actual marquee matchups. At the end of the day, it's all just entertainment. Some people might be ok playing the weakest possible schedule that let's them sneak into the cfp, but good grief, I like exciting matchups. I look forward to Ohio St and Notre Dame playing in BDS.
That being said...the cfp has to somehow truly value playing these big games...just counting wins/losses is ridiculously stupid. You don't even need a committee for that.

I could see this. Russell in 26 and 27...Haven in 28 and 29...and then a senior, experienced Seaborn gets his shot in 2030.
Maybe Thomalla develops into a starter...God forbid injuries factor in...but on paper it looks very good going forward. Mack is gone after this year for sure. Thomalla is kind of the wildcard in the future.
