Also Fezzo's and Rochetto's.

I don't know of a better exit.

Cajun Village rest stop on I-49 is the best public toilet I’ve ever blessed.

I too make a plan to stop whenever on a road trip through Scott. Usually Billy’s for the road pepperjack boudin balls and Best Stop for an order of boudin to bring home but I’ve been to the rest of them too.

I’ve gotten plenty of cracklin from those places but it’s been a while and don’t remember who had the best

Billys is the only one I stop at. Everybody else adopted the shoe leather boudin ball coating.

What Best Stop did to their recipe in last 5 years should be a crime under Louisiana law.

Exit 22 off I-12 is tGOAT

It's a thrill ride where you may or may not die going over the overpass or getting on/off the interstate

You gotta try Kirk’s on Surrey in Lafayette. It’s in the hood but it’s worth the risk. Best chicken cracklins of them all.

This 1000%. Let Blake and Rachelle give you a mini dog to cure your soul or get you wrapped up in a turkey roll and eat away.
