At the end of the day, Lane is going to take the job he wants. Sexton will not change that. He may help to get money, but if he wants to go to LSU he will even if it means a bit less money… same with ole Miss and Florida.

I don’t know if they need to make that public. I would let Kiffin know he is our top target and we are willing to give him until the end of the regular season. If he’s not willing to let us know at that point we have someone else lined up. There is no reason to make that public.

Why does LSU need to announce that they will be looking for another coach if Lane Kiffin decides not to become LSU's coach?
