I don’t think you’d have Saban on tv yesterday praising how great LSU is if he wasn’t slightly running defense for Lane.
I don’t know if Saban and Lane have as strong of a relationship as some believe, but I also think it was far too obvious yesterday that Saban was defending Lane because he recognizes the LSU is a place a good coach can build an empire and close out their career similar to Bama and Ohio State.
