Disagree. They are just setting up a huge announcement for College Gameday next Saturday, the day after the Egg Bowl.

Reporters lie. It is Sexton trying to get more money out of OM and LSU. I think the Gainesville trip for Layla on Sunday was to visit family. That's why no one heard about it until LSU visit came out.

If Kiffin is coming, I would think it's possible that the contract is already signed, and being kept a secret. They agreed to keep quiet and let him coach out the regular season. But if he changes his mind, he'll have to deal with the terms of the signed contract.
I don't believe LSU is just "hoping" he honors his word for the next week. But maybe they are and are more stupid than I thought.

I think we're beyond that point. The Ole Miss AD wouldn't be releasing a statement that an announcement is happening next Saturday if there's still a bidding war.

Yep. The Michael Jordan of trolls needs the biggest stage. Drag along these other teams for another crucial week. Go out there Friday and win the egg bowl. His team and AD will already know he’s staying and they all agree to wait to announce it next Saturday.
All the attention on Ole Miss just days before signing day. Everyone else scrambling to find a coach while they lose recruits. It’s perfect

Kiffin finishes the post season before going anywhere. If he wins a NC then he probably stays at ole miss.
