The best of the 3 backups looks like Hart in the limited action we saw. None of those were highly rated or expected to be a factor

We have a freshman Casuga coming in a few weeks. He’s expected to be good but he’s too young


I think the best option is Lagway. We were his runner up school. I bet he would take a discount to come back home and be the A&M QB.

He’s 6’3”. The raw talent is there. And if he gets beat out for the job then he still has a redshirt year left

The kids absolutely control everything and if they don’t get their way they will transfer. Especially QB’s. There’s no loyalty to Texas A&M. Only loyalty is to the money. Sad, but that’s the society that’s been created

There’s no longer QB competitions. We bring one in and he’s gone. So the decision must be made by Elko

The solution to everything is contracts. Which means collective bargaining. And taxes. Lots of people will fight against it, but it’s time these children got treated like the professionals they are

That’s not what Reed wants to do. Reed wants to run pro style because he thinks he’s going to be some great NFL QB. Reed has stated publicly he doesn’t want to be that type of QB. And we all know the kids these days get exactly what they want

Klein deserves blame for not being focused the last 2 games, sure. But all of this has been a problem all year and Klein has tried to mask Reeds problems. It was a constant all year of Reed missing by 10+ yards and throwing interceptions or near interceptions. Not even close

Let’s hope that Wiggins isn’t a mistake. Reed + Wiggins next year could be a momentum ruining disaster

Happy feet and inaccuracy are his only consistencies. He’s been doing non-stop interviews about heisman and going to the NFL and it’s laughable how far away he is from being good. Take away all the NIL we planned to give him and give it to a transfer

The next “guy” just finished high school and will be on campus in a few weeks and probably needs to redshirt. If we want a real option next year we will need to hit the portal

The 3 backups we have now are 3 star types we were hoping could develop as backups who will stay for a few years. Two freshmen and one RS freshman. True freshman Brady Hart has looked best but Miles Oneil is the backup and he can’t even move the ball against Sanford

Klein has been amazing all year. Right up until thanksgiving week when he was more focused on his new job at K-State than beating Texas……he has good creativity and a great offensive mind

Klein hid most of the problems with Reed this season up until he was distracted with his new job

Klein is a K-State legend. Of course they would hire him. Probably the best they could ever hope for

Reed is inconsistent. Gets happy feet. Bad accuracy. Thinks he’s much better than he is

The solution is to run mostly read option/RPO. He could be elite running that style for the rest of the playoffs. The big problem is Marcel doesn’t want to do that and wants to run more pro-style because he thinks he has some chance at being an NFL QB lol. Disappointing we didn’t make that switch coming into the game. Not surprising though since the game has become so chicken shite and every decision is catered to making these 19 year olds happy

A&M has an above average offensive line. We say we have “7 starters” as we have 7 guys that play and are good enough

One of our seniors (Kam Dewberry) transferred to Bama and is one of their starters tonight. On A&M he would’ve been the 9th or 10th best guy. On Bama he’s in the starting 5 and isn’t even the worst of the bunch

Only SEC homers that weren’t paying attention didn’t see this coming. Joining the SEC immediately gets you SEC level defensive recruits. A&M used to get bottom of the barrel. Immediately after joining we had pick of the litter

Alabama sucking has more to do with a combination of factors. 1) NIL is bad for them as it levels the playing field 2) transfer portal is bad for them as it levels the playing field 3) Saban knew this was coming and retired

Alabama is on their way down
